What a year. 2014 brought us a College World Series appearance, a Heisman candidate, a New Year's Six Bowl, and so, so much more.
And now, as we look back on it, it's time to name the 2014 TCU Athlete of the Year. However, instead of me just picking a few athletes and putting up a poll, I want to hear from you. I want to know which athlete stood out to you in 2014 for being incredible on the field, off the field, or both.
Now's your chance to help us decide who is the 2014 TCU Athlete of the Year. How can you participate?
Well first and foremost, comment on this post. Tell us who you think deserves to be TCU's Athlete of the Year for 2014. Don't just comment with someone's name, give us a reason. Give us your personal testimony as to why you think they're deserving.
Include a gif, vine or image of a defining moment, one that, for you, makes that player the best of 2014.
As we move through the week I'll start tabulating who has the most mentions, and those players will be the finalists. We'll do a full post about the 2014 accomplishments of the finalists, and end with a fan vote this Friday, January 9th.
So, there's no time to waste, get your nomination in now, and remember, make your case.
