Chris Hackett Leaving TCU for the NFL

The junior safety has decided to forgo his senior season and enter the 2015 NFL Draft.

Well it's been quite the day for TCU football. First, multiple outlets reported that Texas A&M quarterback Kenny Hill was transferring, and that a likely destination was TCU. Then, Jordan Moore, junior wide receiver and track All-American, announced he was transferring.

Now, junior safety Chris Hackett has decided to forgo his senior season and enter the 2015 NFL Draft, according to Travis Brown of the Fort Worth Star Telegram.

Hackett led TCU in interceptions in 2014 with seven, including one on Ole Miss' opening series. TCU scored a touchdown two plays later and never looked back.

The Frogs were already looking to replace multiple people in the secondary in 2015, including fellow safety Sam Carter and cornerback Kevin White.

Obviously, it's disappointing to see a guy leave early, but best of luck to Chris in the upcoming draft.
