The Frogs jumped a spot in the Coaches Poll after a 50-7 throttling of Texas on Saturday. It was enough to convince four coaches to give TCU a first place vote. The Frogs are the highest of four ranked Big 12 teams. Baylor sits at No. 4, Oklahoma at No. 9, and Oklahoma State at No. 19.

West Virginia dropped out of the poll after suffering a 44-24 loss to the Sooners in Norman.

Ohio State remains at No. 1 despite struggling mightily in seemingly every game this season, with the latest edition being a 34-27 win over Indiana. Meanwhile, Michigan State drops to No. 3 after holding on late to defeat Purdue 24-21.

LSU jumps to No. 5 after beating Eastern Michigan, and Clemson jumps to No. 6 after a 24-22 win over Notre Dame.

Former TCU offensive coordinator Justin Fuente and Memphis find themselves breaking into the Top 25 this week thanks to a 5-0 start. The No. 25 Tigers have a bye week this week, and will host No. 13 Ole Miss in Memphis on October 17.
