It shouldn't come as too much of a shock that the Horned Frogs are ranked 8th. Granted, we don't have any wiretaps or any sort of way to get inside the heads of the committee, however, given where TCU (8), Baylor (6), Oklahoma State (14), and even Oklahoma (15) are right now, the Committee agrees that the Big 12 has to prove something. The narrative of Baylor and TCU is still very much in focus, and should they win out, it would be nearly impossible to think said team wouldn't get in, despite the "low" rankings tonight.
TCU at No. 8 is rough but meaningless. Frogs play three teams inside CFP's current top 15 this month. In at 12-0.

Not to repeat ourselves terribly, but it's very much a what have you done for me lately system, and luckily the Big 12's November is so brutal and so tailored for this idea that it's hard to see a team going through this gauntlet and not making it in. The Conference and the Playoff is very much for the taking.
Breathe easy and just win, baby.
