The Frogs' hot streak on the recruiting trail continued tonight, as TCU won the battle for 3-star safety Markell Simmons.
I will be continuing my education & football career at TCU. I will also be early enrolling in January! #GoFrogs pic.twitter.com/siPfutWUMR

Simmons committed to the Frogs over Oregon State, Nebraska, and Utah. He has three years of eligibility remaining after playing one year at Pima C.C. in Tuscon, Arizona.
Simmons is a ball-hawking safety, who has great instincts and a quick break on the ball. His combination of size and speed will make him a great fit in TCU's 4-2-5, where he could play either safety or cornerback.
The Phoenix native is rated as the No. 39 overall JuCo recruit by 247Sports.com, and is the fifth JuCo recruit to join the TCU ranks this fall, joining LB Tyree Horton, DE Matt Boesen, WR Taj Williams, and OT Chris Gaynor.
Check out his HUDL film below, and welcome him to the #FrogFam!
