7) Trevone Boykin's Touchdown Flip 2.0.
While this one was not as "jaw dropping" as last year's flip (the second video), it still deserves a spot on this list. This was the second year in a row where Trevone literally ran the show during TCU's annual blackout game. Last year's flip came during the black out game and so did this one. Coincidence? I THINK NOT. Not much to break down here, just another example of how Trevone Boykin and the Frogs truly spoiled us with over the top plays such as this.
However I will provide a brief true story about why Boykin flips will always have a place in my heart. Last year during the blackout game against Kansas State, it was easily the most packed the student section had been all season. Even more so than the upset against Oklahoma. When Boykin scrambled and flipped for six, the guy next to me went so nuts that he tore his pants. Props to him for staying the rest of the game. I happen to be next to the same guy this year and alas he didn't have a repeat of his own. So ever since that fateful night in Amon G. I know to expect everything and anything in the student section.
Gus Johnson, who was calling the game, wasn't even surprised when Trevone flipped in for the score. It was as if he had already seen Trevone do crazy athletic stunts like this for the past two years. There were several moments this season like this that made me realize how much I am going to miss Boykin next year. I know that we will be in good hands at the quarterback position, but nobody will ever be able to replicate his story and his style of play. I'm sure I don't need to say this because he already knows this, but Boykin we love you and wish you the best in the future!
