This effectively ends Trevone Boykin's TCU career. One that was full of tremendous growth, incredible highlights, and heartwarming moments, all of which will be overshadowed by this one moment of complete and utter stupidity.
According to Mark Schlabach, the TCU coaches had issued a midnight curfew for the football team, which Boykin was present for before he slipped back out into the night. He and a few others wound up exchanging words with some people at a bar, and after being kicked out, Boykin got into an altercation with San Antonio police.
Preston Miller, a lightly-used wide receiver, has also been suspended. Miller had only seen time on the field against Iowa State this season.
