TCU head football coach Gary Patterson has announced staff changes.

Safeties coach Chad Glasgow and linebackers coach DeMontie Cross have been promoted to co-defensive coordinators, Dan Sharp will take over as defensive line coach and Paul Gonzales has been named cornerbacks coach.

Glasgow will be in his 14th year with the Horned Frogs. He arrived in Fort Worth in 2001 and left for one season (2011) to be the defensive coordinator at Texas Tech, before returning to TCU the following year. Cross is entering his third season at TCU.

Sharp, who served as TCU’s director of player personnel for special teams last season, will be entering his 24th overall year as a member of the TCU football staff.

Gonzales has served the last three seasons as a graduate assistant with the TCU defense. He has worked with both the Horned Frog cornerbacks and linebackers. Before coming to TCU, Gonzales was the defensive backs coach at Pacific University for two seasons. He also served as a defensive assistant at UC Davis and as an offensive assistant at Pioneer High School in Woodland, Calif. He is a San Jose, Calif., native and UC Davis graduate.
