TCU Recruiting 2015: Sam Awolope is Officially a Frog

The offensive lineman picked TCU over Texas, Arkansas and Arizona State.

Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

TCU inked a very important part of the 2015 class this morning when offensive lineman Sam Awolope signed his NLI. The 6-foot-6 lineman out of Missouri City, Tx, looks to be a huge (literally) part of TCU's offensive line in the near future. At 6-foot-6, but only 265 pounds, Awolope has the frame to add weight, and the arm length that would allow him to play multiple positions along the line at the next level.

Awolope is rated as the 12th best tackle prospect in the state of Texas for 2015, and the No. 71 tackle prospect in the country, according to Scout.com. The 3-star lineman selected TCU despite a late push from Texas to try and flip him. Awolope also held offers from the likes of Arkansas, Arizona State, Missouri, Nebraska and Oklahoma State, along with several others.

Check out his HUDL highlights below, and welcome Sam to the Frog Family!
