Bring Out the Brooms? It's Your Sunday Afternoon Gamethread!

TCU will look for their sixth straight win and to send BU to their tenth straight loss as they go for the sweep Sunday afternoon at Lupton Stadium in Fort Worth.

It's a beautiful day for baseball in North Texas, and for those that can't be at the game this afternoon, it's actually on a real, locatable, TV station! Let's talk some baseball as Alex Young takes the mound for the Frogs against BU's Austin Stone. Young will be making his fourth start of the year, and comes in with a 3-0 record and an ERA of 1.29. The Bear hitters, who have pushed across three runs in the first two games of the series, will try and get going against Young, but that hasn't been easy for opposing hitters - he has allowed only 12 hits and opponents are batting a minuscule .160 against the southpaw.

Stone, on the other hand, hasn't got off to the kind of start that NTU was hoping for, with an 0-1 record and 4.63 ERA. He hasn't necessarily been hit hard - but he has given up 10 walks in just 11 innings of work - and that has led to the gaudy earned run average. TCU, which has scored three runs in each of their games against the Bears, will look to break the offense open as they go for the sweep.
