TCU Left Out of NIT Field

New, 2 comments

The Frogs were left out of the NIT field Sunday night, leaving the CBI as the last hope for a Purple Postseason.

Adam Hunger-USA TODAY Sports

After spending much of this week on the bubble, the TCU Horned Frogs were left out of the NIT. The Frogs finished with an 18-15 record overall, but a weak non-conference schedule and just one win against the top teams in the Big 12 left TCU out in the cold. The last chance for a postseason for TCU is the College Basketball Invitational. The CBI field will be announced shortly.
