What's Kevin Cron thinking about? Well, maybe he misses TCU baseball. Don't worry, Kevin. Not having any games last weekend was a bummer; but the good news is that Schloss and Co. have added two more games with Abilene Christian. The Frogs already have a game scheduled with the Wildcats, but will add one home and one road game this spring to even out (more or less) the cancelled Caly Poly games from this past weekend.
Official Statement:
"FORT WORTH – Head coach Jim Schlossnagle announced the addition of a home-and-home series with Abilene Christian to the 2015 schedule.
Weather and field conditions forced the cancellation of the Cal Poly series prompting the schedule additions. Abilene Christian is in a similar situation after the weather system that passed through Texas over the weekend forced its series against Northern Colorado to be canceled.
TCU will travel to Abilene Christian on Monday, April 6 and the Wildcats will make the first of two trips to Fort Worth on Wednesday, April 22. Abilene Christian was already slated to come to Lupton Stadium on May 12. All three games will have a first pitch set for 6:30 p.m.
Ticket holders for the Friday game against Cal Poly can use that ticket for admittance into the April 22 contest against Abilene Christian. Ticket holders for the other two contests against Cal Poly can exchange them for any future game based on availability..."
