Last night was not a great time to be a TCU fan. The baseball team doesn't lose often, but when they do: they stick to script and usually lose on account of one really bad inning. That was the 1st inning for TCU last night. And possibly even worse than losing 14-4 to a team under .500, were those Street Fighter camo uniforms that were revealed last night. I haven't been that disappointed and angry with something I love since The Phantom Menace came out in 1999.
Last night, Traver suffered his first loss of the season after allowing 11 K-State players to make a plate appearance in the 1st inning. TCU made some decent efforts at a comeback, namely Dane Steinhagen, but it simply wasn't enough and the Frogs were denied yet another Big 12 sweep. To add salt to the wound: Oklahoma State won their 5th straight and are now 8-2 in the Big 12 and are up one more game on TCU.
After suffering his first loss last weekend, Preston Morrison looks to rebound today. And given how the Wildcats hit in 90% of their games, P-Mo should come back to form this afternoon.
