We're out to determine the greatest food venue in Fort Worth, Texas the only way we know how: bracket style. Below you'll find a bracket of 64 of the best places to dine in Funkytown. You'll also probably find that I left your favorite place to eat off our list. That's ok, yell at me in the comments. I can take it.
We broke down the quadrants into four groups: Southwest, Mexican, Burgers/Pizza, and Deli's/Diners/Miscellaneous. I did it this way, rather than random, or by location, because I felt that in order to make it out of each restaurant, a venue should compete against similar venues, as far as style of food served is concerned. But, without further ado, here is the bracket. I know it's hard to read, so I've listed the first round matchups in each region breakdown. You can visit each region by scrolling down.

Southwest Region
This region, along with the Mexican region, were the two groups with the most venues to choose from, and y'all responded with tons of options for the Southwest region. It was difficult to make a cut at every spot, and I know someone's going to be mad something got left off, or about seeding, but everything will be ok. There should be some interesting matchups as we go throughout this section bracket.
First Round:
No. 1 The Woodshed vs. No. 16 Shady Oak BBQ
No. 2. Angelos vs. No. 15 The BBQ Ranch
No. 3 Cattlemen's Steakhouse vs. No. 14 Michael's Restaurant and Ancho Chile Bar

Mexican Region
'Mexican' in this sense is an all-encompassing term that includes Tex-Mex, Mex-Mex, Latin, etc. I trusted people who responded on Twitter with a few of these, as I have not eaten at all of these places, but this is also the bracket that I'm most confident in the way I seeded everyone (which means very little, I probably screwed it up).
First Round:
No 1. Original Mexican Eats Cafe vs. No. 16 Enchilada's Ole
No. 2 Joe T. Garcia's vs. No. 15. El Asadero

Burgers/Pizza Region
I already know I am going to get yelled at for how I seeded things in this region. I tried to get pizza vs. pizza and burgers vs. burgers in the first round (there's one matchup where that failed), but it affected how I seeded things. Everyone will survive, it will be ok.
First Round:
No. 1 Rodeo Goat vs. No. 16 Whataburger
No. 2 Dutch's vs. No. 15 Tommy's Grill
No. 3 Love Shack vs. No. 14 Perrotti's Pizza

No. 7 Fred's vs. No. 10 M&O Station
No. 8 Mellow Mushroom vs. No. 9 Buffalo Bros
Deli/Diners/Misc. Region
I had the hardest time with this region, as it is the region I have frequented the least. So... I'm sorry. There's a play-in game for the 11-seed in this region between King Tut and East Hampton Sandwich Co.
