On the first pitch, Skoug hammered a ball to deep right center field to score both runners, and TCU was on the way to a 7-1 victory and a sweep of a Big 12 series against Texas. Skoug doubled again in the sixth inning, took third on a fly ball and scored on a fly ball.

TCU completed the sweep of Texas with a 7-1 victory on Sunday afternoon at Lupton Stadium. The Horned Frogs closed out the seven-game homestand with a perfect 7-0 record and have now won eight straight ballgames.

Parker notched 47 receptions for 841 yards and 16 touchdowns in his first season at Tyler JC last year. The JUCO prospect played in the same conference as Oklahoma signee Dede Westbrook, who was considered the top junior college wide receiver in the nation.
