Mexican Region Round 1: No. 7 Melis Taqueria vs. No. 10 Yucatan Taco Stand

Who should move on?

Matt Kartozian-USA TODAY Sports

Winner faces off against the winner of No. 2 Joe T. Garcias vs. No. 15 El Asadero.

No. 7 Melis Taqueria

Style: Authentic Mexican

Location: 4304 W. Vickery Blvd.

Price Range: Under $10

Here's a positive review from Yelp:

Carnitas or barbacoa. That's all you need to know. This is a fantastic place for authentic Mexican tacos and other hand held delights. The price is pretty low compared to other taco joints these days and the flavors explode with each bite. I have tried many of there meats, and all are quite tasty, but I can't say enough about the barbacoa and carnitas. I don't believe I've had better.

No. 10 Yucatan Taco Stand

Style: Latin American

Location: 909 W. Magnolia Ave.

Price Range: ~$11-$30

Here's a positive Yelp review:

I've been here a handful of times and each time I have left satisfied and happy.  I always go with a group of friends.  You know why?  Because I can't finish a Nacho plate by myself no matter how delicious and hungry I am.  My favorite nacho plates are Ground Sirloin and Garlic Shredded Beef.  The Ground Sirloin was a lot more rich and flavorful than the Garlic Shredded Beef.  But you can't go wrong with a Nacho plate.  Another huge plus is that their food comes out in like 5 minutes.
