TCU won't head to Stillwater until November 7, but I sat down with Frogs O' War managing editor Jamie Plunkett to talk about the Horned Frogs and catch up on what could possibly be the hottest team in the Big 12 during the 2015 season.

“I think it helps everybody,” Johnson said during a Big 12 coaches conference call on Monday. “It was time for change and from the standpoint of everybody saying we need to play faster, I think that will help it. More than anything, kids want to play fast.”

Del Conte said the original target date was Oct. 15, and acknowledged that he had discussed contingency plans with Johnson. If the Daniel-Meyer opening is delayed, Del Conte said TCU has looked at early-season games at Wilkerson-Greines Activity Center for the men and the on-campus rec center for the women. Both teams played their home games last season at those locations after being displaced by the renovation.
