We are just 52 days away from kickoff against the Minnesota Golden Gophers! Let's introduce you to TCU's #52, offensive tackle Trey Elliott.
Trey is a redshirt freshman looking to crack the rotation of TCU's very good, and very experienced, offensive line this fall. Out of Jesuit College Prep in Dallas, the All-District performer out of high school is an imposing presence at 6'4" and 280 pounds. An excellent pass protector, Elliott likely used his redshirt year to work on run blocking, as well as refine his footwork - and get bigger and stronger, of course.
Trey chose TCU over Tech and others out of high school, saying:
"I’m done" Elliott told Scout.com. "People have asked why I’m not visiting Tech and why I picked TCU over them and it’s because I just like TCU a lot better. I mean someone’s got to end the trend sooner or later and it should be fun."
You have to love that! Good luck to Trey this season... see you in 52 days, #52!
