Definitely something to keep an eye on as we continue to creep closer to the season.

Slot receiver Deante’ Gray sat out practice Saturday as he continues to recover from knee surgery, but it may be until the end of August before he is back, TCU coach Gary Patterson said.

Ranthony Texada is the leader of this incredibly young group. It's good to read that he's doing his part to get that unit ready.

Texada played very well down the stretch and earned Freshman All-America honors in 2014. He started all 13 games, while his seven pass breakups were second on the Horned Frogs. He had a sack against Oklahoma and an interception versus Iowa State.

Colin Jones is still really, really fast, and his role is growing with the Panthers.

“I think we’re very happy with all the roles he can play for us. He’s kind of a jack of all trades,” Rivera said Sunday at Wofford College. “One thing is he’s a special teams ace, so we have to make sure we find opportunities to use him on the football field and make sure he’s still involved on special teams.”
