TCU vs Tech Gamethread: Circle the Wagons

The Frogs travel west to take on an in-state rival at the start of conference play. Can TCU survive the Raiders aerial assault with all of the injuries in the secondary? Or will Kliff's 2015 Revenge Tour claim victim #2?

Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

TCU and Tech have played some weird games over the years, and strange things seem to happen in Lubbock to any team that enters Jones AT&T Stadium out west. While the Red Raiders haven't forgotten the 82 points dropped on them a season ago, neither has TCU, and the offense should be licking their chops at another chance to light up a Tech D that has improved, but is still vulnerable to the big play.

Will the Frogs win the turnover battle, and thus, likely the game? Can Patrick Mahomes' squad match Boykin punch for punch and outscore them in the end? Or will it be special teams that decides the game - maybe a big return by Jakeem Grant or KaVontae Tuprin, or a Jaden Oberkrom field goal from deep? It's a popular upset pick nationally, but the Frogs remained favored - will there be a field rush in Lubbock, or another step closer to the dream of a playoff worthy season? Only one way to find out... come watch/chat as it all unfolds!
