TCU promotes Zarnell Fitch to a spot on the defensive football staff | Fort Worth Star Telegram
Fitch should be a force on the recruiting trail, and could possibly wind up as the DL coach.
Which position Fitch will coach is still to be decided as Patterson works on restructuring his defensive staff after the departure of co-defensive coordinator and linebackers coach DeMontie Cross to the defensive coordinator position at Missouri.
Fitch was hired as director of high school relations in June 2014.
TCU QB Trevone Boykin headlines NFLPA Collegiate Bowl roster | CBS Sports
Boykin has been tabbed as a quarterback, wide receiver, or return man, depending on which NFL scout you talk to. The game takes place at 5 p.m. central time on January 23rd, and can be viewed on ESPN2.
Boykin, who has been training with prominent quarterback guru George Whitfield, has the arm strength and athleticism desired for the quarterback position, but scouts hope to see improved mechanics, timing and accuracy during NFLPA Bowl practices. While he is an exciting playmaker with the ball, Boykin is still learning the nuances of the quarterback position.

Big 12 commit can see himself 'an Alabama football player' | SEC Country
Alabama has huge pull, but TCU is still leading for Sci Martin's services.
So what does Alabama need to do to sway the TCU commit away from spending his college days in Fort Worth, Texas?
“I still need to develop more of a bond with those guys,” Martin said. “At TCU, I’ve been talking to these guys for around two years now. I’ve had a long bond with those guys. I still have to get a feel for how these guys are because I’ve only talked to coach Saban twice since being recruited by Alabama. I’ve also only talked to (linebackers coach Tosh) Lupoi two times.”
