“I wish I would have known he was out. I wish that would have never happened,” Kohlhausen said. “I would definitely trade Trevone not getting in trouble for all of this in a heartbeat. That was his stage and his game to win.”

TCU's amazing Alamo Bowl comeback costs Oregon DC his job | FOX Sports

According to Oregon fans, this is not a bad things.

On the other side of the comeback was Oregon defensive coordinator Don Pellum. He is no longer Oregon's defensive coordinator. Ducks coach Mark Helfrich on Monday demoted Pellum, a 23-year veteran of the Oregon staff who served as defensive coordinator the last two seasons. He will again be the Ducks' linebackers coach.

Bram's personal story is incredibly touching, and adds another layer to his legacy.

“He was always the first one down at the front calling my name, wanting a hug or a picture after the game, even if I didn’t play,” his son recalled. “He really was my rock.”

Bram was named to the ESPN and AP All-Bowl teams.

Bram Kohlhausen, TCU: After the arrest and suspension of usual starter Trevone Boykin, Kohlhausen picked up the slack and rallied No. 11 TCU from a 31-0 deficit in a 47-41, triple-overtime Alamo Bowl victory over No. 15 Oregon. Kohlhausen passed for 351 yards and accounted for four touchdowns.

TCU women moving up in rankings as they face No. 17 Oklahoma

Baby steps.

With wins over Texas Tech and Kansas State to begin Big 12 play, TCU moved up to No. 93 in RPI after entering conference play ranked No. 142. On Wednesday, they have a chance to boost their ranking when they host No. 17 Oklahoma (10-3, 1-1 in Big 12) at 6 p.m. at Schollmaier Arena.
