It’s the final day of Big 12 expansion talk (maybe) and every one is getting a little stir crazy waiting for the press conference Monday evening to reveal what the Big 12 intends to do.
The Big 12 presidents meeting ended just a few minutes ago, more than two hours early, and everyone is speculating as to what it means.
Texas prez Greg Fenves left meeting with his bags 15 minutes ago. Texas Tech prez Lawrence Schovanec leaving now, said meeting has concluded

Meeting running shorter is most definitely not a good sign for expansion. Not sure of complete schedule, but plan was to conclude at 4 CT.

The Big 12 leadership is as unpredictable as they come. Don’t assume because the meeting was quick that expansion isn’t happening.

I personally lean with Ubben more than Ray, and think that the pro-expansion camp will be disappointed when the press conference takes place at 5:30 p.m. central time.
Big 12 still holding to 5:30 press conference with Boren, Bowlsby.

That is....if there even is a 5:30 p.m. press conference.
Big 12 spokesman: "We are on for 5:30 as of now” on the press conference. Oh boy...

However, that hasn’t stopped rumors from spreading today that Cincinnati and BYU are the two lucky candidates that will be invited to the conference. Seeing how we have unimpeachable visual evidence to support these rumors, we should all start speculating on what the divisions will be.

Also, there’s whatever the hell this means from one Big 12 official.
Big 12 spokesman just came out of mtg room and asked what decision is on expansion. He smiled and said: "It depends on your perspective."

So, we’re just going to have to wait until Chip Brown settles it all for us...
No new members were added to the #Big12 during today's Big 12 Board of Directors meeting, multiple sources tell https://t.co/XBNn1ev7Ha.

Oh.
