Frogs in the Pros: NFL Week Six

Joey Hunt and Big V both got their first snaps of the season, with mixed results.

NFL: Preseason-Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Philadelphia Eagles Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

Jonathan Anderson, LB (Chicago Bears):

No stats for Jonathan this week.

2016 Season Stats: 4 tackles

Trevone Boykin, QB (Seattle Seahawks):

No stats for Tre this weekend, as Wilson seems to have turned the corner, injury wise.

2016 Season Stats: 7-9 (77.7%), 65 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT; 2 rush, -2 yards

Marcus Cannon, OL (New England Patriots):

The Patriots finally lost a game. But a pissed off Tom Brady returns for week five, so it was probably a one-time deal.

Tank Carder, LB (Cleveland Browns):

Tank had two tackles Sunday against the Titans.

Week 6 Stats: 2 tackles

2016 Season Stats: 3 tackles

Andy Dalton, QB (Cincinnati Bengals):

Dalton hasn’t played poorly, but the Bengals as a whole haven’t played well the last few weeks. Developing a second receiver next to AJ Green will be the difference going forward.

Week 4 Stats: 21-31 (67.7%), 254 yards, 1 TD, 0 INT; 2 rush, 17 yards, 1 TD

2016 Season Stats: 118-177 (66.6%), 1,488 yards, 4 TD, 2 INT; 13 rush, 71 yards, 1 TD

Josh Doctson, WR (Washington Redskins):

Doc continues to struggle with an injury that has kept him off the field for the past two weeks.

2016 Season Stats: 2 reception, 66 yards

Jerry Hughes, DE (Buffalo Bills):

Bills absolutely decimated the 49ers in Buffalo this weekend.

Week 6 Stats: 4 tackles

2016 Season Stats: 20 tackles, 4 sacks, 1 PBU

Joey Hunt, C (Seattle Seahawks):

Joey got on the field for the first time in 2016, but it wasn’t as the center. He lined up in a super jumbo package at the goal line as a blocking fullback and led running back Christine Michael into the end zone.

Colin Jones, S (Carolina Panthers):

No stats for Colin this week.

2016 Season Stats: 2 tackles

Jeremy Kerley, WR (San Francisco 49ers):

The 49ers changed QBs this week, but got the same result. This team is terrible, but Kerley has played well regardless of who lines up behind center.

Week 6 Stats: 2 receptions, 12 yards; 1 punt returns, 12 yards

2016 Season Stats: 20 receptions, 224 yards, 1 touchdown; 5 punt returns, 69 (nice) yards

Derrick Kindred, S (Cleveland Browns):

No stats this week for DK. Also, the Browns lost again.

Week 6 Stats: none

2016 Season Stats: 20 tackles, 2 PBU

Marshall Newhouse, OT (New York Giants):

Then Giants o-line played one of their better games of the season, as Eli was sacked only once, though the running game never got going against the Ravens. Newhouse performed okay, by most accounts.

Halapoulivaati Vaitai, OT (Philadelphia Eagles):

Big V made his first career start Sunday for the Eagles against the team from Washington, and Ryan Kerrigan welcomed the rookie to the league with a monster performance. He improved in the second half, and will have a chance to hold his spot despite the iffy first game, as Lane Johnson is out for ten games due to suspension.

Jason Verrett, CB (San Diego Chargers):

Jason is out for the year with a knee injury.

Final 2016 Season Stats: 13 tackles, 2 PD, 1 INT
