TCU’s momentum on the recruiting trail continued Friday with the commitment of 4-star wide receiver Omar Manning. This, of course, comes on the heels of Thursday evening’s news that 4-star receiver, and Oklahoma commit, Jalen Reagor flipped his commitment to TCU.

Manning, from Lancaster, is the No. 23 wide receiver, and the No. 151 overall recruit, in the 2017 class according to 247Sports’ composite rankings. He becomes the third wide receiver to join TCU’s 2017 class, alongside Reagor and Reagor’s Waxahachie teammate Kennedy Snell.
Standing at 6-foot-3, 203 pounds, Manning is a huge presence on the outside. When you pair that with his incredible hands and solid 4.5 speed, you get a guy who could see the field early for TCU.
Manning holds more than 30 scholarship offers, including offers from Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Alabama, Texas, Baylor, Michigan, LSU, Oregon, Florida, Washington, and many more.
Needless to say, this is a massive pickup for TCU, and hopefully it’ll simply build on the recruiting momentum TCU has gained over the past two days.
