TCU Random Fact of the Week: TCU and Baylor’s All-Time Series Record

TCU and Baylor’s all-time series record is exactly what you think it is.

NCAA Football: Baylor at Texas Christian Tim Heitman-USA TODAY Sports

TCU and Baylor have been rivals for a while (since 1899, so yeah, kind of a long time), but it wasn’t until two years ago when Frogs and Bears fans went, “Oh yeah! We’re rivals!”

After TCU fell to Baylor, ahem, 61-58 in 2014, the Frogs stormed back with revenge in 2015, taking the Bears to double overtime in the pouring rain and writing a new score, 28-21.

And with that win, TCU brought both sides on the same level.

Go figure. It makes total sense for arch rivals to be even. The history of the rivalry is nuts, too — in fact, when the two teams started playing one another, TCU didn’t even score a single point against Baylor between 1899 and 1904. But then, between 1964 and 1971, TCU beat Baylor every year for eight straight years.

And now here we are, facing one another once again to break uneven. What crazy thing could possibly happen next?
