One tweet says it all. History has been made once again by this year’s TCU women’s soccer team. The Horned Frogs started the season by going undefeated in non-conference and getting off to the best start in program history. Now, for the first time in program history, TCU will be heading to the women’s soccer NCAA Tournament. The Frogs were chosen as an at-large for the field of 64 after a heartbreaking overtime defeat this past Sunday in the Big 12 Championship to the #1 team in the nation West Virginia.
Clearly the team was excited by the news:

The Frogs, one of six Big 12 teams going to the tournament, will host the Texas A&M Aggies in the first round this Saturday at 7pm at Garvey-Rosenthal Stadium. According to the RPI rankings from October 31, TCU is ranked #50 nationally and A&M is #58, meaning this game will likely be close. The teams shared one common opponent this season, Illinois, with both teams knocking off the Illini.
Congratulations to the TCU Soccer team on their historic NCAA berth and Go Frogs!
