2017 Recruit Noah Daniels Chooses TCU over Oklahoma

The cornerback from League City, Texas is the newest Horned Frog

NCAA Football: Oklahoma State at Texas Christian Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

TCU got some good news on the recruiting trail Sunday afternoon, when 3-star cornerback Noah Daniels joined the Frogs’ 2017 class.

Daniels committed in a post on The Recruit Digest, citing that for him, TCU was where he, “could best succeed as a student and as an athlete.”

Daniels was originally committed to Baylor, before decommitting in November, leaving the Bears with just one commit for their 2017 class.

His recruiting had picked up in recent months, receiving offers from Oklahoma, TCU, Oklahoma State, and Missouri since the middle of October. Those came on top of offers he already held from Baylor, Utah, Arkansas, Texas Tech, and a handful of other schools.

Daniels is a big body on the outside (6-0, 191) with lightning speed and great cover skills. He should excel in Patterson’s 4-2-5, which often leaves cornerbacks in man-on-man situations.

Daniels is the 10th commit for TCU this class, and the first cornerback.

Welcome to the Frog Fam, Noah!
