The Big 12 has released the 2017 Football Schedule, and it’s a good one, folks.
Here’s the lineup for TCU:
September 23: TCU @ Oklahoma State
September 30: BYE
October 7: West Virginia @ TCU
October 14: TCU @ Kansas State
October 21: Kansas @ TCU
October 28: TCU @ Iowa State
November 4: Texas @ TCU
November 11: TCU @ Oklahoma
November 18: TCU @ Texas Tech
November 25: Baylor @ TCU
December 2: Big 12 Championship Game (let’s just assume we should keep this date open and wedding-free)
While Oklahoma State and West Virginia may present early challenges for TCU, it’ll be nice to face West Virginia on our own turf. And since Charlie Strong left behind a strong group of new recruits, I’ll be happy facing Tom Herman and Texas at home. And we all know playing at Oklahoma hasn’t been nearly as intimidating (for anyone) lately, so hopefully a late-season game in their house will work to our advantage. And finally, Baylor Black Friday is BACK! The Thanksgiving rivalry lives on next season.
Finally, the Big 12 Championship game will take place in our backyard at Jerry World, so hopefully we’ll be making a short trip across town to watch our Frogs play on December 2.
