The first game will take place on September 13, 2025, at North Carolina, with the second matchup taking place at Amon G. Carter Stadium on September 12, 2026.
Yeah, these games are a ways out, but it’s yet another solid addition to the schedule for TCU, whose non-conference slate is loaded with big name schools for the next decade. Just to refresh:
TCU travels to Arkansas in 2017.
TCU is currently slated to face Ohio State in 2018 & 2019 (this might be changing).
The Frogs then have Cal on the schedule for 2020/21, Colorado for 2022/23, and Stanford for 2024 and 2027.
Just a few years ago, the Big 12 made it a requirement for all conference schools to have at least one non-conference game per season against a Power 5 opponent, and TCU is doing a solid job of living into that rule.
