The 6’1” pass-catcher out of San Diego, CA, was a thousand yard receiver as a senior for Mission Bay High School, and chose the Frogs over Memphis and Nevada. After redshirting his first season on campus, he saw action in five games as a freshman, but went without a reception in his two seasons of action.
With several young, highly rated WRs on the roster, and three big names expected to sign in February, the depth chart at that position is more crowded than ever. Petties-Wilson is likely seeking out more playing time and a chance to make his name on the field. We wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors.
