TCU moved to 8-0 on the season with a 77-55 win over Arkansas State on Saturday night. The Red Wolves, who had previously beaten Georgetown this season, were only able to muster 34.5% shooting from the floor, thanks to some solid TCU defense.
The Frogs were led by Vlad Brodziansky, who once again flashed a variety of post moves en route to scoring 18 points. He also pulled down six rebounds, and blocked five shots.
Kenrich Williams posted another double double (what's new) with 15 points and 13 rebounds, and his energy was critical as TCU pulled away in the second half.
The Frogs led by the slimmest of margins, 30-29, at halftime, and saw the Red Wolves hang around until about the 13-minute mark of the second half, after which TCU pulled away and never looked back.
Arkansas State was led by Devin Carter, with 22 points, but no other Red Wolves could do much.
TCU stays undefeated with Jamie Dixon at the helm, and they head to Dallas on Wednesday to square off against SMU.
