TCU vs. Oklahoma Gamethread

The Frogs travel to Norman tonight to face the top-ranked team in all the land for the second time in as many weeks.

Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

TCU snapped their five-game losing streak on Saturday afternoon, knocking off Tennessee 75-63 as part of the Big 12/SEC Challenge. The reward for the Frogs is a date tonight with the Oklahoma Sooners, the #1 team in the nation according to the Associated Press. The contest marks the second time this season the Frogs will travel to face a top-ranked opponent, after only facing one in program history prior to 2016.

The Sooners are led by prohibitive player of the year candidate Buddy Hield. His 26.2 points per game is the best in the nation entering this week of play. Lon Kruger's team features a deadly starting lineup that features other prolific scorers such as Jordan WoodardIsaish Cousins, and Ryan Spangler. Tonight's game will be televised nationally on ESPNews with radio broadcasts available on 88.7 KTCU-FM and 590AM KLIF in the DFW Metroplex. And as always, I'll be providing updates and commentary below.

Go Frogs!
