TCU Loses To Baylor 86-71, is the season over yet?

The Frogs lose again.

Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

The Frogs got down early to Baylor, as the Bears jumped out to an 11-0 lead to start the game. That didn't stop TCU from battling all night long, though, despite being down by as many as 15 points throughout the contest.

Malique Trent scored 25f points for the Frogs, while also collecting four steals, to lead TCU in scoring. He was joined in double-digits by Chauncey Collins, who had 17 points and has really found his sea legs as of late. This duo will be fun to watch next year, after they have another offseason to develop.

The Frogs were simply outmatched (again) on Saturday, as Baylor outrebounded the Frogs by a hefty margin and shot close to 50% from the floor. The Bears were led by Johnathan Motley and Taurean Prince, both of whom had 22 points on the night.

Fortunately for TCU, there are only three games remaining in the season, with the next once coming Wednesday, in Manhattan. It will likely be TCU's last shot to get their third conference win, as they finish the season on Saturday March 5th against Oklahoma.
