Darius Anderson sends TCU his National Letter of Intent

The running back out of George Ranch High School is officially a Horned Frog.

Student Sports

Darius Anderson ran for over 2,200 yards and 30 touchdowns as a senior at George Ranch High School, as he led the team to a 5A Texas State Championship. Now, Anderson is officially a Horned Frog.

The 3-star running back committed to the Frogs on January 20th, just days after taking an official visit to Fort Worth. Anderson also held offers from Alabama, Texas, and Texas A&M among others.

Anderson originally committed to Missouri back in August, but decommitted in December. The Frogs offered shortly after his decommitment, and he eventually announced that he planned to carry the rock for the Frogs.

Frog fans will be reminded of a running back that just left the fold, as Anderson is of similar build and style to Aaron Green. His top end speed is slightly better than Green's, and he has the same ability to change directions without losing a step.

Anderson and Sewo Olonilua, an early enrollee, are the two running backs in the class of 2016, and both could very well see playing time as true freshmen.

Welcome to the #FrogFam, Darius!
