Kellton Hollins sends in his National Letter of Intent

Go Frogs!

Student Sports

As TCU and Oregon both proved in the Alamo Bowl, you can never have too many centers on your roster. TCU officially added a fantastic one when Zachary, LA product Kellton Hollins sent in his National Letter of Intent.

Hollins, a 3-star recruit, is the No. 7 center in the nation according to 247Sports.com's Composite Rankings. He held offers from Mississippi State, Memphis, and others, ultimately committing to the Horned Frogs back in early June. At 6'3", 298 pounds, Hollins is a force along the line, and should be up for the task of fending off the massive defensive tackles that have joined the Big 12 ranks in this class.

Hollins also has experience at guard, as his HUDL film shows, meaning that he's versatile enough to play three positions along the offensive line, and that he's a fantastic addition to TCU's 2016 class.

It's likely that he'll see time at both center and guard for the Frogs, but with Austin Schlottman the heir-apparent at center, guard may be more likely if Hollins earns early playing time.

Welcome to the #FrogFam, Kellton!
