TCU vs. Oklahoma State Gamethread

Come chat with us as the Frogs look to double their number of Big 12 wins tonight with a home contest against Oklahoma State.

Alonzo Adams-USA TODAY Sports

Less than 50 hours after falling to Kansas, the Frogs are back in action tonight against the Oklahoma State Cowboys. Tonight's game features the only two Big 12 teams with losing records on the season. TCU enters the game 10-13 overall and 1-9 in Big 12 play after having lost seven straight league games. The Pokes aren't much better, sitting at 11-12 on the year and 2-8 in conference play.

The biggest storyline entering tonight's contest deals with the injury front for both teams. Already without leading scorer Phil Forte, Oklahoma State will likely be without their second best scoring threat, Jawun Evans, who suffered a shoulder injury against Texas Tech last week. For the Frogs, leading scorer Malique Trent and leading rebounder Karviar Shepherd are both banged up. Trent suffered a wrist sprain that Trent Johnson described as "not good" following the team's loss to Kansas on Saturday. Meanwhile Shepherd is dealing with some prolonged back issues.

Tonight's contest can be seen nationally on ESPNU beginning at 6:00 PM with live radio broadcasts available in the DFW Metroplex on 88.7 KTCU-FM and 590-AM KLIF. And as always, yours truly will be providing periodic updates and commentary below.
