Reese Strickland-USA TODAY Sports

As spring practices comes to an end, the focus for most of the coaches on staff will turn from on the field to on the recruiting trail, Last week saw several visitors from the classes of 2016, 2017, and beyond. This upcoming weekend, a highly rated CB from Port Arthur is going to be on campus the next two days. Before we get to that, here's the rest of what happened in TCU recruiting this week:

Top Target Grant Delpit Impressive Again, Picks Up Big Offer

4-Star S Target Grant Delpit from Lamar HS in Houston had an extremely impressive weekend at The Opening in New Orleans. From measuring and testing well, to performing on the field well, Delpit did it all this past weekend.

Since his BIG weekend, Delpit has picked up a big offer from Notre Dame:

Baron Browning To Enroll Early at School Of Choice

Earlier this week, 247Sports posted an article that noted Baron Browning was now rated a 5-Star by 247Sports. Now, Browning has decided to graduate in December and become an early enrollee. In the next several weeks, Browning will begin taking classes online as he begins to accelerate his path to graduation. Browning is the top remaining target for TCU, and would be arguably the top recruit n the history of the TCU program.

Interview With Kamren Curl

Kamren Curl, an ATH from Muskogee HS in Oklahoma, caught up with me this week after his recent visit to TCU. He said that while they haven't offered yet, that after seeing what the other top targets at the position they are recruiting him for (Safety) decide to do.

Curl stated that while San Diego State may be at the top of his list right now of teams that offered, TCU would instantly take that spot, and he would "most likely" commit on the spot if given an offer from the Horned Frogs.

Kary Vincent Visiting This Weekend

Kary Vincent, a 4-Star CB from Port Arthur, TX is planning on being on campus both Friday and Saturday. The visit is a huge step for Coach Patterson and his staff, and one that could help shape just how talented the class of 2017 has the potential to be. Vincent recently picked up an offer from Oregon, and he also has a visit to Ohio State planned for the beginning of the summer as well.
