Despite boasting one of the best ERAs in the Big 12, it'd been a minute since Luken Baker had gotten a win. That changed last night as not only did Baker get his third win on the season (3-1), he got out of a big bases-loaded jam late in his appearance. Sean Wymer was fantastic in his 3 innings of relief, allowing only one hit in his save.
Thanks to the ever-brilliant Texas weather, the Sooners and Frogs will play a double header Saturday. If TCU wants to gain some ground on Texas Tech in Conference play, they'll need to beat Oklahoma twice today and get the sweep. Now, there's still a lot of Big 12 baseball to played and a series win would be fine, but capitalizing on this Sooners team would give the Frogs a big boost before they go Oklahoma State next week where they'll most definitely need a series win.

Chris Andritsos vs Dalton Horton will kick off Game One, and it's especially interesting because both of them were Tuesday starters at one point. Horton has a few weeks on Andristos, and he's been absolutely fantastic since the Rex Hill shift earlier in the month. As he said in yesterday's game, Schlossnagle's goal going forward is to get as many innings out of his established starters as possible, so I'd expect Horton to get as many innings as his pitch count will allow in the 11am game.
Game two will see the return of Brian Howard to the rotation, after the ace missed some time with a minor injury. The second half of the doubleheader will start at 3pm and be broadcast on FSSW+.
