Late yesterday afternoon, it was reported by Brian Perroni and 247Sports that TCU commit and top-five dual-threat QB Shawn Robinson was transferring from Denton Guyer to DeSoto for his senior year. Jeremy Clark later confirmed the news.:
I'm hearing the rich get richer? Four-star QB Shawn Robinson appears to be heading to DeSoto for his senior year: https://t.co/GpjiZXkTkY— Brian Perroni (@Perroni247) April 8, 2016
Robinson would join a LOADED DeSoto team, including players such as Xavier Newman, Edward Ingram, Laviska Shenault, Hyrin White, and Kemonte Yaw among several others. While not all of them have TCU offers yet, I would expect a TCU offer to come in the near future, especially for Xavier Newman, who has blown up since his phenomenal performance at The Opening last month.
Yesterday while on his visit to TCU with several of his teammates, 2018 CB Anthony Cook from Houston (TX) Lamar Picked up an offer from TCU. Later in the day, LSU offered and since Oklahoma offered as well. Expect Cook to gain several more offers over the next several weeks.
