Big 12 Baseball Tournament Gamethread

Texas and Oklahoma State face off this evening for the right to take on a red-hot TCU team tomorrow.

Melissa Triebwasser

We are live in Oklahoma City for the rest of the Big 12 Tournament, and the final game of Friday's full-slate has implications on TCU's chance for a championship. Texas and Oklahoma State will tee off in an elimination game - Texas got knocked around by the Cowboys thanks to an eight run-inning Wednesday night on their way to a 10-4 loss, but stayed alive by eliminating Baylor Thursday. The Pokes were victims of an offensive explosion in the eighth by TCU Thursday night - highlighted by back-to-back bombs by Evan Skoug and Luken Baker - forcing OSU into the Friday night elimination game against the Horns.

The winner of tonight's game moves on to Saturday's win or go home game against the Frogs, with first pitch set for 12:30pm. A TCU win sends them to the championship game, while a loss forces an evening tilt for the same two teams. Follow along with us here as we await the next opponent!
