TCU Football Recruiting: An Interview with 4-Star ATH Malcolm Askew

This past weekend, 4-Star ATH Malcolm Askew from McAdory HS in Alabama picked up a TCU offer. With several local powerhouses (Alabama, Auburn, UGA, and Clemson to name a few) in the mix, I was happily surprised with the information Askew presented to me during our interview.

TCU had just recently entered the picture a matter of days before the offer came his way, Did the Horned Frogs enter the picture too late to be considered a serious factor in his recruitment? His response: "TCU is actually a school I've been very interested in and looking to visit" This is exciting news, but wait, there's' more!

Coach Gonzales has recently made Askew a priority, and because of that Askew has told me that TCU can expect to "probably get an official visit" but he's not ready to commit to that just yet. He's not interested in taking any of his official visits to schools he has already visited. With offers from the schools previously mentioned, as well as Ole Miss, Duke, Florida State, LSU, and Notre Dame among several others, 53 offers in all, clearly a highly-coveted athlete for the class of 2017.
