Now the Frogs head down to College Station, where they'll rematch the Aggies. This year, the roles are reversed, as Texas A&M is the national seed, and TCU is the team that is trying to pull off the road upset.

TCU will meet Texas A&M in College Station in a best-of-three series for a berth in the College World Series. The Aggies defeated Minnesota 8-2 late Sunday to advance to the super regionals.

It's a testament to the Arizona State coaching staff and players that the Sun Devils were even playing on Sunday evening. Tracy Smith lost his Friday night starter in late February, he did not have his expected closer all season and the Sun Devils struggled to begin Pac-12 play, losing three of their first conference series.

The Southeastern Conference's player of the year, A&M third baseman Boomer White, transferred from TCU to A&M after appearing in the CWS for the Horned Frogs two years ago. He sat out last season under transfer rules before starring for the Aggies this year, and ESPN cameras caught a TCU fan holding a "We Want Boomer" sign during the Horned Frogs' victory over Arizona State on Sunday night.

The quarterback wasn't able to break through on the depth chart, and now he's looking for other chances to play ball. He also has the advantage of being a graduate transfer, despite being just a junior, which means he'll be eligible to play immediately.

According to a source with knowledge of the events, Allen is currently on a two-day official visit to the banks as he looks to make his collegiate decision over the next couple weeks.

Nathan Lin, 8, had been battling Grade IV glioblastoma multiforme, a common and very aggressive form of brain cancer, since July.

Nathan Lin had a lot of fun during the last months of his life.

The 8-year-old Fort Worth boy thrilled at meeting the TCU basketball team and football team — including his hero, former star quarterback Trevone Boykin — and taking a trip to Disney, all arranged by the Make-A-Wish Foundation North Texas.

In February he signed a letter of intent — the tongue-in-cheek kind — to join the Horned Frogs swim team, and freestyled a strong 25-yard dash in the pool.
