TCU Baseball Rolling With Jared Janczak in Game 1

TCU baseball coach Jim Schlossnagle revealed Thursday that redshirt freshman pitcher Jared Janczak will take the mound for the Frogs in game one of the Super Regional against Texas A&M.

Janczak last appeared in the Fort Worth Regional against Gonzaga, when he went 5.2 innings, allowed three runs, and struck out seven. On the season Janczak is 6-3 with a 2.41 ERA and 65 strikeouts in 67.1 innings pitched. This will be his fifth start of the season.

Brian Howard and Mitchell Traver will likely be the other two starters this weekend, but in a Super Regional, it tends to be an all-hands-on-deck mentality.
