Los Angeles has a NFL team (again), and the new look Rams also have one of our favorite Frogs, in rookie running back Aaron Green. Green has received positive reviews through the early goings on mini camp as well as the start of training camp, and has an excellent shot to make the team. For those who would like to follow his, and other other players journey towards their dream, you’re in luck: HBO’s Hard Knocks returns Tuesday.
The show, which serves as a sort of training camp documentary, is produced by HBO Sports and NFL Films, two of the foremost entities in the realm of sports and television. Always teeming with drama and edge of your seat intensity, Hard Knocks gives fans a rare inside look behind the veil of the ever-secretive NFL.
For TCU fans, this season of Hard Knocks allows Frogs to follow the journey of Aaron Green, an undrafted rookie making his foray into the pro game after a successful career at TCU. Green, who faces stiff competition in second year star Todd Gurley, as well as fellow young players like Malcolm Brown and Terrence Magee, will be looking to make a good impression on his coaches with the Rams, or at least to draw the attention of running back starved teams across the NFL.
You can catch Hard Knocks in its season debut Tuesday, August 9th at 10:00pm on HBO. The full press release is below:
