TCU to debut new black helmets vs. Oklahoma

TCU is becoming known for having new uniform combinations year to year, because Nike really likes working with the Frogs. Now, TCU has just released a video showing glimpses of a new helmet to be worn against Oklahoma.

The black chrome helmet has a purple chrome facemask, and an enlarged, purple chrome Horned Frog on it.

As we all know, uniform and helmet stuff isn’t for the fans, it’s for players and recruits, and the helmet is already being used as a recruiting tool for TCU.

Here’s another shot of the helmet. It looks really, really good. So good.

So, remember that when the Frogs take the field Saturday.
