Vladimir Brodziansky has been named Big 12 Player of the Week, for his role in helping TCU knock of Texas in Austin for the first time in 30 years, as well as beating Iowa State for the first time since joining the conference. He averaged 22 points, 10 rebounds, and three blocked shots in the two contests.
Brodziansky scored 19 points and pulled down six rebounds against the Longhorns, as TCU held on to win 64-61. He also notched his first double-double of the season (which is hard to believe) with 25 points and 14 rebounds as TCU defeated Iowa State 84-77.
The two wins have pushed TCU to a 3-2 record in Big 12 play, the first winning conference record for the Frogs since joining the league five seasons ago.
