We’re two days from National Signing Day, and TCU has started to round out it’s class as they hit the final dead period. TCU added four names to their commit list over the weekend, including DT Corey Bethley, who picked TCU over Texas A&M and Oklahoma.
Here’s an updated list of where TCU currently stands with the 2017 class.

TCU’s class currently sits at 17, which means there are a few spots left to fill, but not many. Here’s a breakdown of who still has TCU in the mix for their services.
Todd Harris, S | 4-stars | 6-0, 180 | Plaquemine, LA
Main Competition: LSU, Alabama, Arizona State
Harris was on campus visiting TCU this weekend, and just announced his final 4 teams on Twitter as being Alabama, LSU, TCU, and Arizona State. He’ll announce on National Signing Day.
Prediction: LSU
Phidarian Mathis, DT | 4-stars | 6-4, 287 | Monroe, LA
Main Competition: LSU, Alabama
Mathis is in the same boat as Todd Harris, and he visited LSU and Alabama at the same time as Harris. He was also on TCU’s campus this weekend, but it’s going to be hard to pry him away from his home-state, I think. He’s announced a final three of Alabama, LSU, and TCU, and he commits on Tuesday, at 4:30 CT.
Prediction: LSU
Quazzel White, OG | 3-stars | 6-3, 285 | Tacoma, WA
Main Competition: Washington State
The Frogs got in on White late, but they’ve picked up momentum with the Washington native very quickly. The former Washington State commit visited TCU on January 20th, and decommitted from the Cougars shortly thereafter. White has said that TCU is the leader for his services, and he doesn’t really seem to be considering anyone else at this point.
Prediction: TCU
Michael Onyemaobi, CB/S | 3-stars | 6-1, 187 | Temecula, CA
Main Competition: Nebraska
Onyemaobi was once committed to Cal, but since the departure of Cal head coach Sonny Dykes, the cornerback/safety has reopened his recruitment. Fortunately for TCU, they hired Dykes, putting themselves in the running for Onyemaobi’s services. He visited Fort Worth on January 20th, and seemed to have an incredible time. However, he just returned from a visit to Nebraska, and it seems like the Huskers really left him with a great impression. He will make his decision on Fox Sports, on National Signing Day.
Prediction: Nebraska
Elijah Walker, S | 3-stars | 6-2, 195 | Cerritos College (JUCO)
Main Competition: Kansas State, Texas Tech
Walker, a former Kansas State commit, has been quiet as of late, but it appears as if TCU will be his landing spot. Of course, there’s also the possibility he turns back to Kansas State again as well.
Prediction: TCU
