“Kenny Hill is playing fantastic,” Tomlinson said to reporters after the event. “That combination of having a really good quarterback playing well and a really good defense usually translates to a lot of wins. So we hope we can keep it up.”

During a mailbag Q&A, Matt Mosely got his thoughts out about TCU, the Big 12, and the CFP. The question he was asked: Does a TCU loss end the Big 12’s hopes of getting a team in the College Football Playoff.

Mosley: Not at all. OSU and OU are in decent shape to make noise if they win out. If the Frogs lost to the Sooners in a really close one, it might not completely doom them. The Big 12 is alive and well right now. We're just so used to burying the conference. That said, TCU really needs to win out. It's going to be pretty rough if the Frogs run the table and then have to play OU or OSU again in the title game. But this is the "data point" Bob Bowlsby wanted.

4-star SF prospect Feron Hunt decommits from TCU | DieHards

Hunt was committed for just under two months.

Hunt, a native of nearby DeSoto, Texas, verbally committed to TCU on Sept. 3 before making his official visit to Fort Worth on Sept. 15. But the 2018 prospect, who is rated the No. 12 player from Texas in his class — according to the 247Sports composite rankings, is now reconsidering his decision.
