TCU Alum Victim of Las Vegas Shooting: ‘one of the most selfless and sweetest humans’

Elle Gargano, class of 2016, could use our support.

News: Las Vegas Shooting Nick Oza-USA TODAY NETWORK

A member of our TCU Frog Family was among the injured during Sunday’s deadly attack in Las Vegas, as 2016 graduate Elle Gargano was shot in the head while attending the Route 91 Harvest Country Music Festival. A member of Gamma Phi Beta, Gargano graduated Magna Cum Laude, with a B.S. in Strategic Communication (Advertising + Public Relations) and a minor in Writing.

While details are scarce at this time, Gargano is fighting for her life in a Las Vegas area hospital. To help with the cost of the long recovery ahead, a GoFundMe has been set up in her name by family and friends. They are nearly to the $50,000 goal, but her expenses are sure to mount and every dollar helps.

If you are able to help, please do so by clicking here. And in the meantime, keep Elle in your thoughts and prayers. We will update as we receive more information on her status.
